In the city our outdoor space is particularly precious to us and we often “borrow” views from neighbouring plots. The planting in this enclosed town garden was being rejuvenated and part of the brief was to address the issue of screening at the furthermost boundary in response to a proposed extension to the property adjacent to this boundary.

A bespoke structure supports a myriad of summer climbers and embraces the seating area whilst the tracery of planting works with, and adds to, the best of the existing planting to create an effective screen that protects views and privacy.
