The brief was to renew this sheltered courtyard and create a less cluttered and more contemporary outdoor space.

The design formalised the use of space creating a grid pattern that defined discreet areas for dining, evening sitting and pottering. A black limestone flag and the block planting of box created clean lines and ground pattern whilst the large rendered planter brought a bold simplicity to the planting.
